Feeding The Five Thousand (FTFT) is Creekside's local food ministry. FTFT is a food pantry, but with a difference. Instead of just having a room full of food for folks to come and pick up, we have assembled bags that will feed a family of four for a week and deliver them.

Donations and More
FTFT operates on our campus and serves residents of Forsyth county. Volunteer opportunities include collecting, sorting, and delivering food items. Delivery volunteers are assigned a client, and the purpose of this relationship is not only to offer them food, but also build Christian relationships through prayer, connection, and invitation to worship at Creekside. Please visit our food pantry today for open house or stop the connection table to learn ways to serve. Contact:

The Angel Tree gives our congregation an opportunity to reach out to the Feeding the Five Thousand and Teen MOPS families with the love of Christ during the Christmas season. You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of a family by selecting a tag, purchasing the item, then returning the donation and wrapping paper to the tree by December 15. The Angel Tree will be in the atrium beginning December 1st.

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" ~ Matthew 25:37-40
JUNE 14-21 HOST WEEK INFO AND SIGN-UP
This week will be very different than in the past. The families are staying at the home on the Forsyth/Cherokee line that many of you visited when we used the house when we had our plumbing issues last year. Due to COVID and the desire to limit exposure to the families and congregation members, there is a small team that is staying at with families.
Our contribution for our upcoming host week will be limited to meals only. I've created slots on the Signup Genius for the fixings only for each meal. There are also slots for miscellaneous needs (drinks, fruit, snacks). I'll meeting the volunteers on Sunday 6/14 and will collect all the food to take it out to the house. I've got a second series of signups for midweek to refresh drinks, fruit and snacks. As of now, we have 3 families and 10 people. As always, please reach out with questions - .
