Missions Ministry seeks to glorify God and support the overall mission and vision of Creekside UMC by growing in grace and reaching out with love. The ministry serves to enrich the lives of individuals in our church by providing opportunities to minister in our community and beyond through service. These opportunities will serve to strengthen their relationships with the Lord and each other, equipping them to exemplify Christ and share God’s extravagant love and grace. Missions Ministry's goal is to equip and to send adults, youth and children into our community to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" - Isaiah 6:8

Food Pantry

Feeding The Five Thousand is a food pantry, but with a difference. Instead of just having a room full of food for folks to come and pick up, we have assembled bags that will feed a family of four for a week and deliver them.

Learn More

We deliver food on the third weekend of every month to specific families that we locate through contacts in the school system. We need to build an organization that can collect, sort, bag and deliver the food and keep accurate records so that ultimately we can qualify for assistance from the Atlanta Food Bank.

Luncheon at The Place

This is an ongoing ministry that prepares and serves lunch at The Place of Forsyth County. It is the third Wednesday of each month. We invite you to join God where He is at work.

The menus are simple, and we provide all the food for each meal. The meal is prepared in our homes and then transported to The Place.

Family Promise

Creekside is proud to support Family Promise of Forsyth by hosting these families. We are all invited to play a small role in making a difference in their lives!

How can you help?
Be the hands and feet of Jesus...

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" ~ Matthew 25:37-40
