MomCo
The MomCo stands for The Mom Community. We are a Christian organization that encourages and equips moms to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.
Am I a Momco mom?
The Mom Community represents women of many ages, stages, and backgrounds who share the same desire -- to be the best mothers they can be. There is nothing little about a mother's impact. The child-rearing years are so significant and formative, so precious and fleeting... Moms know this, so they pour themselves into mothering. But who pours themselves into moms? We do.
If you are a mom who:
- is pregnant or has a child, newborn through high school-aged
- desires to make new friends
- wants to share the challenges and joys of motherhood
- is looking for spiritual growth through trusted resources
- wants to learn more about raising your children in a Christian home
- enjoys giving back to the community
...please join us!
What is MOmco at Creekside?
The MomCo at Creekside meets from 9:45 am until 12:00 pm, typically on two Fridays per month during the school year. Each meeting provides an inviting environment where women can come "just as they are” to build friendships, be encouraged, and gain practical strategies all while any young children are lovingly cared for in our KidCo program (drop-off starts at 9:30 am). A typical meeting starts by sharing breakfast together. There is usually a craft project or speaker on a motherhood topic. Discussion groups allow moms personal time with a smaller group of moms to share ideas, thoughts, and experiences. Also, in attendance at each meeting are seasoned moms there to encourage, mentor, and give practical advice based on their experience and wisdom. We close with prayer requests and door prizes.
What will my children do?
KidCo is our quality children's ministry where little ones are loved and nurtured during our MomCo meetup. This program includes classes for infants through Kindergarten. Children will enjoy stories, games, free play, crafts, music, and a snack. You may attend The MomCo with or without your children.
How do I join The MomCo?
Mothers of all denominations as well as mothers who do not attend church are welcome at MomCo. Registration is required to attend meetups; however, you may attend your first meetup free of charge with an RSVP. Dues can be paid in full or by semester. Dues are $88 for the year for moms needing childcare and $73 for the year without childcare. These dues do not cover all of our expenses but do help offset the costs associated with childcare, crafts, speakers, breakfast, coffee, paper goods, and technology. Our two consignment sales and Holiday Showcase are our main fundraisers for MomCo and help offset the costs associated with our group.
NEW THIS YEAR: Local dues now include MOPS International membership, which is required by our charter agreement with MOPS International. We will register you so you do not have to go through the process! If you have a current membership, renewing adds 12 months to your current expiration date. As a member of MOPS International, you will receive a one-year subscription to the MomCo magazine, weekly MomCo email messages, and many other great benefits.
Scholarships are available; please email
