Diving Deep: Exploring Friendship with God at VBS

Posted by Ginny Ellithorp on

Summer is here, and for many kids, that means one thing: Vacation Bible School (VBS). But at Creekside Church, VBS isn't just any ordinary week of crafts and songs—this year, it's a thrilling underwater adventure into the depths of friendship with God.

From the moment they walk through the doors of Creekside Church, children will be transported into an underwater wonderland. Decorations of colorful coral reefs, shimmering fish, and majestic sea turtles set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Every detail was meticulously planned to immerse the children in the theme and ignite their passion for God’s Word.

The week will kick-off with an energetic opening ceremony, complete with songs, skits, and a special message about the importance of friendship with God. Through engaging stories and interactive lessons, children will learn about how to build a relationship with God.

But perhaps the most important takeaway from VBS will be the reminder that friendship with God is not just for one week out of the year—it's a lifelong journey. As children return home with their hearts full of joy and their minds full of newfound knowledge, they carry with them the promise that God is always with them, guiding them, and loving them every step of the way.

So here's to another unforgettable week of Vacation Bible School at Creekside Church—a week filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of diving deep into a friendship with God.
