Story for the Ages
When I think about my two children as preschoolers, my favorite memory is reading to them until they fell asleep. Stories and good books take us on adventures, teach us new things, and make a lasting impression. Jesus was an amazing story teller and this month the preschoolers in the Creekside Nursery are learning all about the stories Jesus told – from a shepherd searching for his lost sheep to a man who built his house on a rock. These stories teach our preschoolers that Jesus loves them so much!
Preschoolers learn from simply coming to church with you, that it’s a safe place, a place to be loved, and to hear about Jesus’ love for them. Wouldn’t it be great if all they knew of church was how much they were loved by Jesus and His church by the age of 4? The Creekside Nursery is more than childcare – it is a place for your preschooler to learn and grow in an environment that will create lasting memories and budding habits that lead to a life enteral with Christ!
We have a great opportunity for preschool families to come together and connect through some great stories at our Nursery PJ Story Time on Saturday, January 29th. Have your kiddos wear warm and cozy PJs and enjoy Creekside Nursery Story Time together beginning at 6:30pm in Room 140!
